AHAHAHA School is OUT!! *dances* Got off 9:30 today :)


Leaves more time for being lazy and not doing art or music or stuff.

Actuallly, I've already got summer homework from 4 out of 5 of my AP classes next year: Chem, Physics, Lit, and European His. Only class I'm free from is Economics. Oh joy. It's not even little homework either. For Chem, I've got SEVEN worksheets based on the first FIVE chapters of the textbook. I could rant more, but it's not like anyone would want to hear about school here. :/

So I'm not really free. :(

OHMAHGOSH. I'm a senior now!! O_____O I remember getting obsessed with Avatar when I was in 8th grade. Man, how time flies!


I just want to jump all the way to July and watch the finale for Avatar!


I feel so lazy. I want to submit art, but every time I draw, I hate whatever I'm drawing. Any way to cure this?

Oh yeah, one last thing. Anybody read any of Brian Greene's books? My physics teacher let me borrow two of them, Fabric of the Cosmos and The Elegant Universe. I've read FoC, and I'm reading Elegant Universe right now. FoC is more like general physics, and Elegant Universe deals more with superstring theory. DUDE I love these books. I'm so suprised that quantum physicists don't go insane from their work. XD

Avatar movie thoughts?

Hehe, because I haven't updated my journal in two months XP

I know that this might be conceited and selfish of me, but I was wondering if they were going to do something for the Avatar movie where there's a random drawing or something for some fans to go on set/appear on the movie. I think I could make a pretty good background person (haha) since I'm Asian and all and maybe do some bending or something since I've taken martial arts before. That would be totally awesome. And I could be that random person in the background that dies too XD


Oh yeah, speaking of Avatar and movies, we watched "Hook" in calc today (finish the AP exam for that class last week, so we have nothing else to do but watch movies for the next 3 weeks). I've never watched Hook before, and WOAH the total surprise for me was that Dante Basco played that one tribal kid, Rufio or whatever his name was. And while he was fighting with Captain Hook my friend was like "Why doesn't he just firebend at him?" lol :B And my heart just broke when he was stabbed.

But seriously. Dante Basco needed more speaking lines in that movie, but Robin Williams was amazing and awesome and funny in that movie :)


Also, thanks to all the people who flood my inbox even though I rarely log on haha. But I'm done with SATs and I only need to take one more AP exam. *cries for joy*

I've been away for several weeks so I could study for my SATs, and then I've been sick for a while now.

You know how in elementary school and middle school they teach you things like you can't take the square root of a negative or that you can't have a negative angle or that Christopher Columbus discovered America?

Well, high school has taught me a lot of things. (Okay, I know I'm going to sound like a total dork for this) Just recently, I discovered that the rule that 1 raised to the any exponent is always 1 is FALSE. Like 1^50=1 or 1^3x-6esin(4)=1...but then when going over some previous math competitions there was this weird one where the exponent had some really long and SCARY integration or summation notation. It's also a shame when people credit Columbus for discovering America...I mean, are the people who already LIVE there don't count? Or the Vikings that came there like 500 years before?

lolz, that's my rant ^^;


Anyways, a sorry and a heads up on art...January through March is when I have the most math competitions, so I'm working on that, plus I have my SATS coming up in 2 weeks. In classes and everything I've managed to do art, but never something that I have time to take home and refine on the computer...ugh, I feel so bad for updating! I really feel like I'm progressing a lot, and I really do want to put up some new and improved art, but some things just have to go first...but just for now! (and by now, I mean the next two months)



But I love you all, and thanks to all those who keep my inbox full, I'm really surprised at everything even though I don't update. ^^;

This is something I was working on last week and finalized it right before I went back to school this Tuesday. Took a me a little less than a week to put it together, but I'm pretty proud of it though. It's not totally awesome or anything, but it's one of the things that I like to do besides art :D

Speaking of things that I like to do besides art...

I remember one time this guy told me not to make my hobbies my job, or else it will take out all the fun in it. Well, I'm going to my first math competition this year tomorrow (was on the team last year too). OHMAN I am so nervous. So yeah, been studying my butt off but it won't stay in! (er...the information, not my butt)

MATH WHY?

Also, today in class, I once again had the unfortunate task of drawing on poster day. Someone made a comment that my drawing looked like DBZ. I was like "WUT?" I don't think so...I kinda laughed inwardly to myself. But then another girl said that my style was like "Japanese cartoons" and she probably meant anime. The thing was, it stung me. Of course, I do draw in an anime/anime-inspired style, and it's a perfectly good one if I choose to develop it. But I really want something that looks original and refined and developed that can't be called another person's style. You know? It's not like I can instantly change how I draw.



So yeah, it's something like that, but from now on I'll try to put a little more originality and emotion (and backgrounds!) in my stuff. Though I'd still like to thank all of you who faved and commented on my stuff!!






Does anyone know how C(18,x)=C(18,5) and x cannot equal 5??

Haha, jk jk
